The COSC certificate is granted by the "Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres". This means that it is an official Swiss control used to test the precision of watch movements. To obtain this certificate, precision tests must be carried out in different positions and at different temperatures. These tests take place over a period of 15 days, tests that have been passed by this Certina model.
