The Certina DS Super PH500M Powermatic 80 C037.407.17.280.10 watch belongs to the Certina brand, which can be seen at the top center of its dial. It features a case made of silver-colored 316L stainless steel using premium materials. The strap is made of durable black rubber, with an elegant adjustable buckle clasp in 316L stainless steel. This watch is a Swiss jewel with a black rotating bezel that has a silver-tone engraving functioning as a tachymeter. The orange dial background features hands and a second hand in black with Superluminova luminescence. Thanks to its innovative Powermatic 80.111 automatic movement from the DS Action collection, it has a power reserve of up to 80 hours. The crystal of this piece is sapphire with a single-sided anti-reflective treatment, highly resistant. Inside the circumference, located at the 3 o'clock position, a date window in numerical format can be seen. This piece has a hermetic seal and is water-resistant according to ISO 6425.
The DS technology patented by Certina has been designed for greater protection against dust, shocks, water, and humidity, even when the crown is out of position. To achieve this, sapphire crystal of extremely high resistance (scratch-proof and unbreakable) with an anti-reflective treatment has been used in its manufacture, with sealing on the stem, case back, and crown to achieve high water resistance, and reinforcement on the case back for greater strength. It also has properties that protect it from magnetic radiation, reliability in saltwater, and high resistance to thermal contrasts.
